- What a name! Diagnosaurus: a mixture of diagnosis (what the program is
about) and thesaurus (implying an encyclopedic nature) and a dinosaur (giving a sense of power) and the icon/logo is a dinosaur!
- This is essentially an ebook that lists the differential diagnosis for a given
single symptom.
- The great thing about it is that it is absolutely free.
- The book is published by Mcgraw-Hill and made available for the PDA by
Unbound Medicine.

You can search for symptom, diseases, and by organ system.
Each condition is having a DDx list and some diseases coupled with etiology list.
The problem is that it is designed for medicine not pediatrics so you get things such as temporal arteritis and dementia and malignancy as a cause of failure to thrive!
Some lists could have been better and cross linking is not thorough.
