Skyscape works on Pre with the Classic thing [motionapps.com/classic]. They have a couple of products set up for that. I did 5mcc and a drug reference. Very slow to install, but once there it works great. As fast and usable as on my old TX. Faster, actually.
The smart link works great too. You have to do a manual unlock (like on the Mac/Palm according to a collegue), but that is no big deal.
Even Skyscape now list Palm Pre as an option in their product pages

Tags: Palm Pre, Palm Web OS, Skyscape
That’s curious – I’d have expected it to run slow due to the emulation (just like install). Is the speed acceptable? I did not see any mention of the native implementation on the site. Has anyone tried pure Palm application under Classic?

Hi, here are some details, updates from our side:
The following apps are already available as Palm Pre Classic apps (you can download them NOW! Select Palm Pre Classic in the ‘Choose a Platform’ dropdown).
1. 5MCC 2010
2. Merck Manual of Diagnosis and Therapy
3. Davis’s Drug Guide for Nurses
Our Products page is: http://www.skyscape.com/estore/ProductOverview.aspx
Those three are the certified apps. There are ways of using all Palm OS apps (even non certified ones) with the Classic environment. You can find details of how to do this on the FAQ section of this page on the motionapps website: http://www.motionapps.com/classic/
Please note that we have not tested other (non certified) Skyscape applications on the Classic environment. Currently, the three which have been certified are mentioned above.
As more apps get certified, we’ll keep everyone updated.
